In 2004 Facebook, at its infancy, was given $500 000 dollars by Peter Thiel, one of the founders of Paypal. Facebook has since gone on to become the biggest website in the world.
The vision for 12 Notes is the same, if not in size and scale, but definitely in heart. We do realise that no matter what size the vision is, it takes more than just passion and a good idea to make something grow.
In light of this we are embarking on a crowd funding drive to grow the 12 Notes website and community to a place of influence in the music world. The current website is just phase 1 of the vision and has been thus far self funded. Phase 2 will see musicians, artists, teachers and students from all genres of music being able to have a community to exchange ideas, form partnerships, market their products, discover new talent, be discovered etc.
This is where we need the funding – to develop a free community portal that caters for musicians, teachers and music students.
We are therefore looking to you, the community, to fund this idea and vision – to make it grow to a place of influence in the musical world. We want to give those talented individuals who cannot afford huge marketing budgets a place to market their creative projects for free. We want to be able to help students get better by providing resources for free. We want to help teachers become better at their jobs by having the best musical education material at their disposal – all at no cost.
Please visit our crowdfunding campaign at Indiegogo and contribute something to see this website grow. If you cannot contribute anything please share this post on your social media networks.
